28: Still Fucked Up - LA

$20.00

Presented in Community Partnership with CAPE (Coalition of Asian Pacifics in Entertainment).

Being 28 is the most sensitive age ever. Are you engaged, married, have kids, have a stable well-paying job, debt-free, in good health, AND own a home? No? Then you’re probably fucked.

If you think back to when you were still in college, everybody had an idea of what they’re doing with their lives after graduation. Except for me. I didn’t have a job lined up. I was deeply passionate about social justice, until I worked in community organizing and hit a wall. I had a sudden urge to pursue that childhood dream of becoming an actor/performer. My mom found out I was serious about this whole acting thing… a whole four years later, and she says, “acting is the hardest path you can ever take.” That’s when I became fucked up.
